All mailbox posts are installed justified to the street. Labor to remove old, haul away and install new in concrete is included in the package price. We will make every effort to dig out the old with hand tools but sometimes there is so much concrete we physically cannot dig it out. In those cases, we will cut the old post off at ground level and install the new post on either side of the old - typically slightly further away from the driveway.  Note that the mailbox post is fine for mail service the day of the install but please do not shake it to see how sturdy the post is as the concrete requires a minimum of 24 hours to set up. We do install year-round.
